Hello. I’m Tricia.

therapist. mom. human.

I do this work because I’ve lived it.

You’re not broken — you’ve been surviving for a long time.

There was a time I had no clue how much my past was haunting me, weighing me down, and showing up in ways I didn’t understand. I thought I just needed to push harder, be more grateful, stop being so “sensitive”, or get my act together (hello, I am the former crazy girlfriend who once called 72 times because someone didn’t answer while grocery shopping).

What I really needed was nervous system safety, deeper self-understanding, and support — not shame.

The Heart Behind My Work

A little about me? I’m a therapist, yes — but also a mom, a human with her own triggers, and someone who’s done (and continues to do) this work, too.

I became a trauma specialist because I wanted to understand the deeper why behind our patterns — why we feel broken, anxious, overwhelmed, or reactive even when we’re “doing everything right.”

What I’ve learned — and now teach — is that healing isn’t about becoming someone new with better coping skills (though those are helpful). It’s about coming back to who you were before the world taught you to be smaller, quieter, less of yourself.

That work is sacred. And it’s what I love helping others reclaim.

what therapy looks like with me…

We’ll dig deep.

We’ll go beyond surface-level coping skills and get curious about the “why” — the old patterns your nervous system picked up to keep you safe, the beliefs you didn’t choose, and the pressure you’ve carried for far too long. This work isn’t always easy, but it’s powerful.

You’re in charge.

This is your space. You get to go at your pace, ask questions, say “no thanks,” tell me I’m bat-shit crazy, and bring your full, messy, beautiful self without apology. Therapy isn’t something I do to you — it’s something we build together.

I’ll cheer you on.

Not with empty affirmations or pretending it’s all fine — but with real support that honors how hard you’re working, even when no one else sees it.

I’m not here to be a people pleaser — I’m here to challenge you, push you (gently), and help you notice when old patterns are dimming your light (aka lovingly call you out when needed).

Let’s be real — your time is valuable. I want you to get the most out of this. And sometimes that means we’ll talk about the hard stuff you’d rather avoid. That’s not because you’re failing — it’s because you’re ready.
